Homework

Homework is sent home every day and is expected to be completed carefully, on time, and brought back to class. Fourth graders are expected to spend about 45 minutes on homework each night, not including silent reading time. Unfinished class work may require additional time. Some light homework (ex: projects) may occasionally be done over weekends. All homework is due the next day unless otherwise noted. It is the student's responsibility to know what the homework is for each night, including on days that he/she is absent. All absent students receive a piece of paper listing what they missed in class each day. Work for absent students may be picked up after 2:45pm each day by someone OTHER THAN than the ill student.
