Can you believe it? The last week of this school year is upon us! We are winding down in the classroom, and are wrapping up all of our units of study. We are also taking time to reflect on our fourth grade memories and looking toward fifth grade. As students take home their work from this year, look through the readings, homework, and projects, and decide what work should be kept for future reference. (The 3 science portfolios should be kept to help review for the 5th grade science STAR test, which includes 4th grade science!)

End of the year activities: Yearbooks wil be handed out on Tuesday; there are a limited number of copies still available for $25. On Wednesday, we will have a class celebration at 11:30am (pizza will be provided), and a 4th grade ice cream social at 1:30pm. On Thursday, there will be an upper grade awards ceremony in the morning, and school will be dismissed at 11:20am.

It has been a pleasure getting to know each student and family this year, and I hope you have a wonderful summer. See you next school year!
